Employee Exit Assistance
Departure of employees for any reason is upsetting for the employee and your company. In an effort to make this transition easier, the following package has been developed.
1. Immediately after the employee has been told they no longer have a position, I am available to the employee for them to “talk” and get much of their anger/upset out before they leave the building.
2. Assistance with accessing employee’s talents in order that they may know what kind of position would be most appropriate for them.
3. Resume Preparation ---- Develop one that truly reflects their talents and accomplishments. Cover Letter.
4. Interview Preparation – One of the most dreaded events can be turned into a learning experience.
5. Eighty percent of positions are gotten through networking. Assistance with learning where to go, what to say and how to follow-up.
An employee who receives the assistance listed above is much more likely to say good things about your company after they leave. Wouldn’t it be terrific if you gave the employee the tools they need to find another position?
