Today's workplace is comprised of five different generations of people working together. Each of these generations holds a different view of the world influenced by world events that have shaped each generation's place in history. Through exploration of these events and world views, it is possible to develop an understanding of why people react the way they do to any given situation and how to effectively communicate between diverse generations.
Generations Explored:
- Veteran/traditionalist
- Baby Boomers
- Generation X
- Millennial (Y Generation, Echo Boom, Baby Busters)
- Fifth Generation: No consensus on name yet.
Largest "Generational" Challenges in the Workplace:
