“I believe the real difference between success and failure in a corporation can very often be traced to the question of how well the organization brings out the great energies and talents of its people.”

- Thomas Watson, Founder of IBM

Recently I was talking with a CEO about the strength my coaching brought to his organization. He said, "We have an accountant, a lawyer and human resource person. It seems to me we should have someone readily available to help with our communication issues too."

People are not taking time to:

  1. Make the person in front of them feel significant or important.
  2. Ask questions.
  3. Listen to the answer.

CEOs, Presidents, Managers and Supervisors don't have readily available the sounding board needed to brainstorm and test ideas about how to manage people effectively.. A recent survey revealed that 65% of people in management positions feel they lack the skills needed for effective leadership. Often thrust into their positions with little management training, they are forced to learn "on the job" which can be disastrous and frustrating for the leaders and team members alike.

As the world becomes more and more technology driven, the issues surrounding communication continue to multiply and escalate. We are inundated with information and leaders have little time to learn tools to help them cope with this information overload. In addition, leaders are expected to manage teams that are facing their own communication challenges with little or no guidance.

For solutions, an Executive Coach can make a world of difference!

  • An Executive Coach's role is to help a person live up to their full potential.
  • An Executive Coach serves as a confidant.
  • An Executive Coach keeps abreast of issues affecting the business world so his or her advice is always well informed and relevant.
  • An Executive Coach works with teams to enhance their communication skills.
  • An Executive Coach identifies talents and helps people feel more fulfilled in their positions.
  • An Executive Coach provides effective tools for communication.
  • An Executive Coach works with people to develop plans to resolve issues and overcome challenges.
  • An Executive Coach can be available in person to meet face to face or by phone if distance is a factor.
